Raith Rovers has issued a strong statement condemning unacceptable behaviour during their recent Fife derby match, which saw them secure a crucial 2-0 victory over Dunfermline Athletic on March 14.
While the Kirkcaldy-based side thanked the 4,282 home fans who turned out to support the team, they also expressed concern over incidents involving pyrotechnics, seat damage, and disruptive behaviour within the stadium, urging fans to respect club policies and safety standards.
In the club statement released on Tuesday night, Raith Rovers acknowledged the overwhelming support from fans but stressed that such disruptive actions are in direct violation of both their own Code of Conduct and the SPFL’s Unacceptable Conduct Rules, which harm the matchday experience for all attendees.
"Bringing and discharging pyrotechnics, damaging seats, and engaging in disruptive behaviour are all unacceptable and will not be tolerated at Raith Rovers Football Club," the statement reads.
"These actions violate both our Code of Conduct and the SPFL’s Unacceptable Conduct Rules, harming the Club and the matchday experience for everyone."

“We are committed to working with groups to improve the matchday atmosphere at Stark’s Park,” the statement continued. “However, our overriding priority is ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all supporters.
"Any evidence of wrongdoing has been and will continue to be fully investigated, and we are working with the relevant authorities to take the necessary steps.
