It very much looked like Ohio State football cornerback, Denzel Burke, was going to leave for the NFL like some of his teammates, but something changed between Senior Day and now.
The talented defender made his decision on the 2024 season and he will return to Columbus for another season. The Arizona native has had an up and down career for the Buckeyes, one that saw him be impressive as a true freshman only to struggle during his sophomore year.
This past year was a resurgent one for Burke, who looked like he would leave and get picked early in the draft. That will have to wait for next year, as he becomes another Ohio State player who has spurred the professional ranks for one last ride.

Burke has always said he wanted to be the No. 1 corner in the draft, and will now get a chance to do so with a strong senior campaign. All of Buckeye Nation is excited about his return.
