The Las Vegas Strip's restaurant offerings are among the most popular attractions for its guests, along with wall-to-wall casinos and big-name headliner entertainment.
Diners on the Strip have many options to indulge in celebrity chef restaurants, such as Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill or Joel Robuchon at MGM Resorts International's (MGM) MGM Grand.

Guests can also enjoy Caesars Entertainment's (CZR) restaurants operated by celebrity chefs, including Brasserie B and Amalfi by Bobby Flay; Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen and Pub & Grill at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris Las Vegas; Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen & Bar at the Linq Hotel or Guy Fieri's Flavortown Sports Kitchen at the Horseshoe.

The Strip's casinos also feature dozens of other choices that are not hosted by celebrity chefs. Some of those restaurants lose their edge over time and casinos need to close the old diners down and refresh the spaces with new concepts.
Las Vegas Strip hotel-casinos recently said they would close down some longtime restaurants that debuted on the Strip over 10 years ago.
Popular breakfast and lunch cafe Avenue Café at the MGM Grand, which has operated since June 2013, will close permanently on Nov. 17, MGM Resorts International revealed. The restaurant is expected to be replaced with a new concept in February 2025.
Avenue Café was still a popular restaurant, at least on weekends, as this reporter experienced on a Sunday in July. The restaurant was only open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., so it didn't serve dinner.
The MGM Grand described the Avenue as a throwback to past Las Vegas:
"With its vibrant retro design, Avenue Café puts a glamorous twist on old school Vegas. Slide into a high-backed booth for a hearty breakfast of a made-to-order omelet and a signature mimosa. Or linger a little longer over a sandwich or burger at lunch," MGM states on its website.

MGM Resorts International on Oct. 30 permanently closed another of its limited-hours restaurants, Della's Kitchen at Delano Las Vegas on the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino campus, which originally opened in September 2014.

MGM will replace the restaurant with a new concept when it converts the Delano to the W Las Vegas later this year.
Della's Kitchen's website described the restaurant as "historic farmhouse meets urban kitchen," serving breakfast and lunch with a combination of classics, comfort food, and seasonal specialties.

Las Vegas Strip restaurant Ocean One closes
And now, another Las Vegas Strip casino restaurant has closed down, as Ocean One Bar and Grille at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Hotel and Casino's Miracle Mile Shops has gone dark.
The restaurant was known as one of the most affordable establishments on the Strip, as its lunch menu was priced at $5.99 for all of its items and its happy hour special featured three cocktails for $12.
The restaurant management apparently is searching for a new location as it posted a message to potential customers, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.
"Thank you for allowing us to serve you for the last twenty years. With your support, we will continue serving the Las Vegas community as we search for a new location. Lease has expired," the message read.
