Store and Yard have announced they are shutting up one of their locations due to impossible costs.
The cafe is closing up their Wicklow branch as it is no longer “financially viable” in the current economic climate. However, they reminded customers that their Sandycove branch would remain open despite the sad news.
The owners confirmed their location at Belmont Demesne was permanently shut in a post on Instagram.

They wrote: “Unfortunately like so many other cafes, Store and Yard is not financially viable in this current climate. We’d like to thank all our customers, staff and suppliers for all your support.”
People took to the comments section in response to the news. Customers expressed sympathy at the Belmont branch shutting up shop.
One person wrote: “Sorry you have to close at Belmont. Love Store and Yard at Sandycove, my local coffee shop.”
The news follows as several eateries announce their departure from Dublin’s food scene. Winedown, a city centre restaurant, recently confirmed they were closing due to rising costs after two years in operation.
Meanwhile, other businesses, such as popular Dun Laoghaire café Cali Kitchen, also announced they were closing at the end of this month.
