Another Browns starting offensive lineman may head to IR

(This story was updated to add new information.)

The Cleveland Browns lost more than just the football game to the New York Giants on Sunday. Offensive guard Wyatt Teller left the game with a knee injury among a flurry of players who headed to the MRI room.

Now, head coach Kevin Stefanksi has told the media that his veteran player will miss “multiple weeks” with his knee injury. The head coach did not rule the veteran guard out as a candidate to hit Injured Reserve, which would sideline Teller for at least four weeks.

After Teller went down, rookie Zak Zinter replaced him at right tackle. Teller was not the only offensive lineman to exit either as Jedrick Wills left the field of play in his first game back since Week 9 of the 2023 season.

By the end of the game, left guard Joel Bitonio was playing left tackle, center Ethan Pocic playing left guard, and backup center Nick Harris entering the game.

It is getting ugly up front for the Browns.

UPDATED: Teller has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 MCL Sprain and is expected to miss four weeks (According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo).
