The Cleveland Browns are set to interview Atlanta Falcons tight ends coach Kevin Koger today for their offensive coordinator position.
Since firing Ken Dorsey after the season, the Browns have interviewed four total candidates. Those candidates include tight ends coach Tommy Rees, Miami Dolphins quarterbacks coach Darrell Bevell, Seattle Seahawks quarterbacks coach Charles London, and now Koger. The current offensive coordinator for the New Orleans Saints, Klint Kubiak, has also been named dropped as a fit.
Before spending 2024 in Atlanta as their quarterbacks coach, Koger held the same post under Brandon Staley with the Los Angeles Chargers. He has also spent time with the Green Bay Packers as an offensive quality control coach. Koger spent plenty of time coaching at the college level before breaking into the NFL as well.
He is a local to the area, born and raised in Toledo, Ohio before playing his college ball at the University of Michigan.
The Browns wrapped up their search for an offensive line coach rather quickly, and they may look to do the same with their vacancy at offensive coordinator.
