Nottingham Forest are being tipped to sign "another big name" after securing the services of England international Jesse Lingard.
Lingard has joined the Reds on a free transfer after his contract at boyhood club Manchester United expired. He is said to have agreed a lucrative one-year deal at the City Ground.
The 29-year-old became Forest's 11th senior signing of the summer transfer window. Head coach Steve Cooper is preparing for the upcoming 2022-23 Premier League season after leading the team to promotion via the Championship play-offs last term.

Garner's Lingard message
Former Nottingham Forest loanee James Garner has commented on Jesse Lingard's arrival at the City Ground.
Lingard joined Forest yesterday on a one-year deal and published a post celebrating his move on Instagram. Among the big names congratulating him in the comments was Garner, his former Man United teammate.
Garner played a huge part in Forest's return to the Premier League last season, but will not be able to sign on loan again unless the move contains an obligation to buy clause. This is because Dean Henderson is on loan from United and two loanees cannot come from the same club under Premier League rules.
Lingard's shirt number?
Jesse Lingard has checked in at the City Ground following his sensational transfer to Nottingham Forest.
The England international has joined the Reds on a free transfer after leaving boyhood club Manchester United at the end of his contract. He is said to have signed an initial one-year deal with Forest.
West Ham United and Everton were reported to be keen on the 29-year-old. But he ultimately opted for a move to the East Midlands as Forest prepare for their long-awaited return to the top flight of English football.
Strongest Forest starting XI
Nottingham Forest have managed to pull off the surprise signing of free agent Jesse Lingard as they gear up for life back in the Premier League.
The 29-year-old was on the lookout for a new club after being released by Manchester United this summer. West Ham United had been considered frontrunners for his signature, following a successful loan spell, but it was the Reds who sealed a shock move.
Head coach Steve Cooper spoke after his team’s 3-1 friendly win over Hertha Berlin about ensuring any new arrivals fit in with his style and ethos; being good characters as well as good players. Lingard could certainly slot into the manager’s system - and will bolster an area of the pitch where Forest are in need of strengthening ahead of their top-flight return.
Lingard reveals Cooper chat
New Nottingham Forest signing Jesse Lingard has revealed head coach Steve Copper has already "taught" him the way that the Reds are going to play this season.
The England international has made clear that he has already spoken to Cooper about the team's structure on the pitch and that those conversations have left him excited to start playing at the City Ground. The first opportunity to put that teaching into practice could come as soon as tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon when Forest take on Union Berlin in the German capital.
Lingard also believes that the Reds possess the "perfect mix" of personnel combining experience with youth. But, despite arriving to much fanfare as a free agent after leaving Manchester United earlier this summer, the 29-year-old is under no illusions that he will waltz into the starting XI and that hard work is required on his behalf to earn the spot in the team.
