The Eurovision semi-finals got underway this evening as 17 countries battled it out for ten spots in Saturday's big final.
Ireland will not be represented until Thursday's semi-final, and some viewers are wishing we had performed this evening, saying we would have "walked it."
The first semi of the Eurovision took place at the Pala Olimpico arena and saw favourites to win, Ukraine, perform their song, Stefania.
They received a standing ovation as they secured their place in Saturday's grand finale in Turin, Italy.

"Thank you for supporting Ukraine," they said.
Joining them in the final so far will be Armenia, Greece, Iceland, Lithuania, Moldova, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal and Switzerland.
That means that Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Latvia, and Slovenia were not successful in their attempts.
Ireland's contestant Brooke Scullion will hit the stage performing her song, ‘That’s Rich’ on Thursday as hopes are high for the 23-year-old to make it to the final.
Fans of the competition are annoyed this evening as they think Brooke would have ‘walked it’ to the next stage on Saturday among tonight's competitors.
Many people thought the performances on Tuesday night were ‘not the strongest’ so it seems some of the best have been left to compete against Ireland later this week.
One viewer wrote: “It’s a shame Ireland aren’t in this semi-final cos this one is SO WEAK in comparison to Thursday’s & Brooke would have walked it. #Eurovision”
Another said: “Why couldn't Ireland be in this SF? Think we'd cruise through #Eurovision”
While a third added: “I saw someone else say it earlier but Ireland would have flew through this semi this eve... it’s not been the strongest of songs so far #EUROVISION”
