The Chicago Bears (2-6) will face the New Orleans Saints (4-4) on Sunday in Week 9, where Chicago is looking to bounce back after another embarrassing loss.
The Bears’ Week 9 game will air on CBS at 12 p.m. CT. The television commentators for the game are Andrew Catalon (play-by-play), Tiki Barber (analyst), Matt Ryan (analyst) and AJ Ross (sideline).
Chicago is coming off an embarrassing 30-13 loss to the Los Angeles Charges on Sunday Night Football, where the offense and defense struggled. Rookie Tyson Bagent was asked to do more in his second start, and while he opened things up, he also threw two interceptions. The Bears still haven’t won back-to-back games under Matt Eberflus.
Meanwhile, New Orleans is coming off an impressive 38-27 win over the Indianapolis Colts, where the Saints snapped a two-game losing skid. Quarterback Derek Carr threw for 310 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions. Meanwhile, receiver Rashid Shaheed went off to the tune of 153 receiving yards and a score.
With quarterback Justin Fields sidelined for his third straight game with a right thumb injury, it’ll be Bagent making his third NFL start for the Bears. Can Chicago get a win on the road in a tough environment with a rookie QB?
