Beloved musical Annie is coming to Liverpool's Empire Theatre next year on a UK tour.
The smash hit show tells the story of sassy young orphan Annie, who lives in an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan and dreams of a better life. Her luck changes when she's chosen to stay at the home of the phenomenally wealthy Oliver Warbucks.
The musical began on Broadway in the 1970s and has been adapted numerous times on stage and screen. The popular 1982 film version of the show is regarded as a classic, with a more recent retelling starring Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz and Quvenzhané Wallis being released in 2014.
