Like many young women, when Annie Charlotte was 16, she went to the doctor to get her first contraceptive method. But unlike many young women, it was on that fateful day that she discovered she was born with two vaginas.
At first, it was a pretty rude shock that caused Annie to feel a lot of shame around her body. These days, she’s not only come to embrace her unique assets but has used them to her advantage on OnlyFans, where she boasts more than 366,000 followers and one of the best nicknames of all time — the two pussy princess.
However, it wasn’t always an easy road. Like many women suffering from female reproductive health conditions, it was especially hard for Annie to find medical professionals who knew enough about her condition to treat her effectively. Now, she’s determined to use her platform to break down the stigma and advocate for women’s health.

How did you find out you had two vaginas?
“I found out when I was 16. I was having super bad periods and thought something was wrong with me,” Annie explains.
“I went to get the Mirena fitted at a normal sexual health clinic. There was a nurse who was getting ready to insert it, and she puts her hand in and just goes ‘oh’.
“That is not what you want to her when a nurse has her hand inside your vagina.”
The nurse told her that there was “something in the way” and that she couldn’t fit the mirena. As a result, Annie was sent to a gynecologist where she had an MRI, an external ultrasound and an internal ultrasound.
“I had loads of different tests, scans and cameras inside of me until eventually, the doctor goes, ‘Yeah, you have two uterus’, two cervixes and two vaginas’,” Annie recalls.
“I was like, ‘Okay, thanks for that’. After we left, me and my mum just sat in silence. We didn’t know what to do with the information.”

How did the diagnosis make you feel?
“When I was first diagnosed, I was super ashamed of it. I wanted to get rid of it but my doctor said it would cause damage and cause more harm than good. But I just wanted to be normal and be like everybody else,” she recalled.
“I didn’t talk about it to anybody. I was weirded out by it if that makes sense.
“At 16, there’s so much insecurity around your body and your vagina as it is, let alone with two vaginas.
“I had this insecurity for a long time until having two vaginas became something that people found really cool. It almost became a party trick. We’d play Never Have I Ever and my friends would say ‘Never have I ever had two vaginas’ and it would open up the conversation.”
What’s it like having sex with two vaginas?
According to Annie, it’s no different than a vagina without Uterus Delphinus for the person having sex with her. However, there are some physical differences.
“My right vagina is the dominant one that most people have sex with. It’s definitely deeper and bigger — but I don’t like calling it bigger so I always just say the left one is tighter,” she jokes.
“The left one is shallower so if someone’s dick is too big, if I’m in certain positions, it will hit my cervix on the left side which can be painful.
“Basically there’s a squishy wall between the two vaginas. It’s easy to guide in [a partner] without any difficulties and it’s concave at the top, so if you put two fingers in, you can feel the wall and put your fingers on either side of it. A dick just slides into either one.”

Do sexual partners usually notice?
“It’s definitely something you have to feel with your fingers,” Annie says, noting that most men don’t realise during penetrative sex.
“There was one guy I slept with and I told him about the two vaginas after we had sex. He was like, ‘What? that’s so cool’ and asked if he could feel it. I was like, ‘Yeah, of course’! So after we had sex, I literally had my legs in the air while he was putting his fingers inside me, rooting around.
“He was like, ‘Oh my god, I’m touching it!'”
What is your period like?
While most people with periods would tell you that one is absolutely plenty, Annie says that she occasionally will experience two.
“Normally, I have one period each month because I share a fallopian tube,” she explains.
“But because the vaginas are technically connected to independent reproductive systems, sometimes one will just be like ‘Oh, I’m having a period now’. It does its own thing and sometimes I get two a month.”
So, with two separate reproductive systems, does it freak you out that you might be pregnant in both at the same time?
“I think the only thing that freaks me out is whether I’ll still have a period while I’m pregnant one day. Like, the whole point is you don’t get periods and you just grow your little baby,” Annie laughs.
For a long time, Annie says she didn’t even want to think about having children. But as she’s gotten older, Annie admits that having kids is something she wants to experience one day
“If I meet the right person, I definitely do want my own little baby,” she says.
“If I had two at the same time, I think the only thing that would stress me out is that my right uterine is so much smaller and they would have less space to grow. There would be loads of medical complications with it because I can’t carry a baby to full term anyway, apparently.”

Why did you decide to launch an OnlyFans page?
“When I first started OnlyFans, I didn’t even advertise myself as someone with two vaginas. I’m quite a sexual person and I was always sending nudes. So during COVID, I was just doing it all the time and talking to multiple people. Then, I found this girl on Instagram talking about OnlyFans and how much money she was making and I was like, ‘Wait, I’m doing this for free?!'” she laughed.
“A couple of years down the line, I had a conversation with some of my OnlyFans friends about having two vaginas and they were like, ‘Why is that not all over your OnlyFans?’
“The day I started talking about having two vaginas my money doubled. Within the first few months, it quadrupled.
“And that’s how I became the two pussy princess.”
Talk about an origin story.

What are the biggest misconceptions about your condition?
“Oh, that my second vagina is my butthole,” she laughs.
“When I go viral for having two vaginas, I get loads of people messaging me asking whether my second hole is my butthole and I’m like, oh my god, this is not some elaborate ploy to get you to subscribe to my OnlyFans”.
That’s not the only one though — Annie constantly faces
“Another misconception is that people think that I have two labia, not two vaginas. People think I’m going to have two literal vaginas — or vulvas — right next to each other on the outside of my body. It does make me chuckle, but no, it’s all internal.”
How has your condition inspired you to speak on women’s health?
For years, Annie has found frustration in the medical system. With each appointment for reproductive health-related issues, she has to go through the process of explaining her condition and watching as the doctors don’t know what to do.
“When doctors are interested in the condition, I don’t mind that. It’s more when they’re guessing about how to treat me that makes me upset,” Annie admits.
Since speaking publicly about her condition, Annie has found that other women struggling with various reproductive health issues are also struggling to be treated effectively.
“The more women I speak to, the more I find out about how women are being failed by the medical system. I feel like by speaking out, we’re showing women and girls that we’re not alone in this,” she says.
Although Annie acknowledges that she does often make a ruckus in the media for her OnlyFans page or simply by having two vaginas, she really enjoys the advocacy part of her role online.
“It truly opens conversations with people. If you hear someone has two vaginas, you’ll talk about it with your friends and then potentially have a bigger conversation about your own vaginas. It makes it less taboo and I really enjoy that element.”
