Ireland's Fittest Family star Anna Geary has revealed she will be helming her own RTE radio show in the coming months.
The former Cork camogie star is already an RTE favourite thanks to her coaching role on the reality show, as well as through her punditry with the Sunday Game.
Speaking on The Marty Morrissey Show on Monday morning, Anna said she was "really excited" about her latest media opportunity.
She outlined to host Marty Morrissey what listeners can expect and when the programme would be broadcast on the airwaves.
"It's very exciting, I think the last 18 months, the pandemic, has really shown us the importance of health and wellbeing and being informed and just looking after ourselves," Anna said.
"I think it's the first time I've actually said it out loud that it's starting in January.
"I have a new health and wellbeing radio show starting on RTE Radio One.
"If you look at dancing and you look at everything you have to do to look after your body and your mind, this is as much about looking at all the topics of health and wellbeing, exploring them even from a human interest point of view, as well as from an expert-led point of view."
She added: "So I'm really excited about that, it's starting on January 9 so I'll be busy over the next few weeks and months preparing that.
"But it's a place that I've always wanted to be, health and wellbeing, coming from the world of sport it's been so important to me.
"I'm really looking forward to it."
Anna will also be back on our screens on Sunday nights when Ireland's Fittest Family returns from October 31.
The coaches from the programme appeared on the Late Late Show on Friday night to discuss the upcoming season.
Anna, Davy Fitzgerald, Donncha O'Callaghan and Derval O'Rourke were on the chat show to give Ryan Tubridy an insight into the new series.
During her chat with Tubs, sporting star Anna joked about a now viral appearance on the Sunday Game during the summer.
The 34-year-old sported a floral top at Croke Park while giving her analysis on the All-Ireland camogie semi-final game between Cork and Kilkenny.
Eagle-eyed RTE viewers were quick to take to social media after Anna appeared to have "blended in" to the crowd, meaning she looked like a "floating head" on the television.
"Up close, [the patterned top] was fine, but far away when you were trying to get all the panel in, it literally looked like I was a floating head because I blended into the background," she explained.
The photo was then displayed on the screen in the studio which led to laughter by the show's guests and audience.
