Shraddha Kapoor and Siddhanth Kapoor starrer crime flick ‘Haseena Parkar’ might have not made it big at the Box Office but one character that did shine the most was Haseena's husband Ibrahim played by actor Ankur Bhatia.
As the film clocked 4 years on Wednesday, ETimes reached out to Ankur, who looked back at his decision to work on 'Haseena Parkar' with zero regrets. He said, “It was difficult for me to bag the role of Ibrahim. I went through rounds and rounds of auditions, really worked hard on it and I’m thankful for the faith my director Apoorva Lakhia had in me. My gratitude to the universe, too, that I have received so much love and appreciation for my character and the film.”
Talking about the film's performance, he added, “I am truly grateful for the opportunity. No one can predict a movie's fate at the box office but I believe ‘Haseena Parkar’ is a very well made film. The appreciation, feedback and messages have not stopped, even after 4 years of its release.”
Recalling his working experience with Shraddha and Siddhanth Kapoor, he shared, “I had a great time shooting with Shraddha. She has by far the best sense of humour, you can't stop cracking up around her. I remember, between takes, she would crack a joke with a straight face, and my jaw would start hurting because I would try to control my laugh! It’s the same with Siddhanth and when these two are together, it's a riot.”
