Ankit Gupta was evicted from Bigg Boss season 16, soon after the actor bagged a new show. Ankit shot to fame with the show Udaariyaan, and his character Fateh has turned iconic for the viewers.
His pairing with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary in the show grabbed many eyeballs and fans had already begun to trend them before they entered the Bigg Boss 16 house together. Post his stint with Bigg Boss, Ankit will be soon returning to screens with his show Junooniyat as Jahaan. The show is a musical drama.
In an interview, Ankit Gupta recalled an incident on the casting couch from his initial days in the industry. The actor shared unusual advice he received at the beginning of his career. Ankit detailed how he was told to compromise and remarked that in order to stay in the industry, one must go through this process.
He even mentioned how they used to take the names of several biggies to launch. Ankit also added that people used to tell them that all of the stars they launched had made sacrifices to get to where they are now.
Ankit called that whole scenario the 'worst experience of life'. He even stated that he was extremely shocked witnessing it and also tried telling the person that he cannot do all this, he wasn't that type of a guy but that person was very keen on touching him. Ankit said that someone told him, "Okay, you don't want to do it but at least let me touch it. Upar se hi hai. I was shocked and said to myself 'What is happening?"
Well, Ankit has been a part of showbiz for more than a decade and this incident surely seems scandalizing for the actor.
