A rhinoceros rammed a keeper's car and flipped it onto its roof in this shocking footage filmed at a German safari park.
The 30-year-old rhino, named Kusini, slammed its horn into the passing vehicle and flipped it over multiple times during its terrifying rampage.
The horrifying episode was captured on camera by a visitor to the Serengeti Park in Hodenhagen in northern Germany earlier this week.
Miraculously, the safari park employee escaped with only minor cuts and bruises.
The car, however, was almost completely destroyed after suffering extensive damage to its roof and had its windows popped out.
The manager of the park, Fabrizio Sepe, said it was unclear what led to Kusini becoming so enraged.
He added that the animal had only been at the zoo for 18 months and was still acclimatising to its surroundings.
Kusini has only been allowed to roam the park in the morning and in the evenings and did not pose a threat to other visitors, he claims.
He now believes that the wild rhino might be better off in a zoo environment in the future.
Rhinos numbers in the wild have dwindled in recent decades and experts consider the species vulnerable to poaching and other threats.
At the start of the 20th century, 500,000 rhinos roamed the continents of Africa and Asia.
But very few now survive outside national parks and reserves.
Earlier this year, a poacher hunting rhinos in a huge game reserve was trampled to death by an elephant and eaten by a pride of lions .
The dad was part of a group of poachers in Kruger National Park (KNP), South Africa, on Wednesday.
It is believed they alarmed the elephant who charged at the victim near Crocodile Bridge, deep in the reserve.
The lions then mauled the man, and reportedly left "very little remains".
Ranger Don English helped police in the investigation.
And Kruger National Park (KNP) has today paid tribute to the victim, who has young daughters.
Glenn Phillips, managing executive of the reserve, said: "Entering the Kruger illegally and on foot is not wise as it holds very many dangers and this incident is clear evidence of that.
