Angry Britain's Got Talent fans say 'bring him back' after act 'robbed' of final place

The line-up for Sunday night's (June 4) final of the 2023 series of Britain's Got Talent has now been confirmed - but not everyone was happy with the decision of who would be going through from Friday night's semi final episode.

Some viewers were not at all happy that one act missed out on a final spot in the final - with many taking to social media to express their frustration,

Eight more acts took to the stage to perform on Friday night, including comedian Tonikaku who left the judges in hysterics with his audition, the Mirror reports. But it wasn't enough for the comedian to get him into the final, despite him making the top three.

Cillian O’Connor and Lilliana Clifton were confirmed as finalists after the last public vote, with Tonikaku just missing out on a place.

Judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Bruno Tonioli and Alesha Dixon were tasked with choosing one out of the remaining acts to put through, after Cillian won the public vote.

All four judges decided to put through Lilliana - despite the judges saying they loved Tonikaku. Simon even teased he could be the wildcard, yet to be decided on, Some viewers claimed Tonikaku was "robbed" of a place in the final.

With talks of a wildcard and judge Simon hinting he might hand it to Tonikaku, viewers demanded he be let into the final.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: "Pants guy was ROBBED. Bring him back as the wildcard, ya tight b******s."

Another viewer tweeted: "Fixed. Boycotting #BGT now. Tonikaku was robbed," as a third agreed: "PANTS GUY ROBBED!!!!"

A fourth fan tweeted: "Make Tonikaku from Japan a wild card. He will NOT disappoint."

But other fans slammed the act for his reaction to not getting through, and for failing to congratulate Lilliana - while it seems he was still in character.

Other viewers were disappointed that incredible dance group Unity didn't even make it into the top three, despite a powerful performance.
