I'm A Celebrity viewers have been threatening to complain to Ofcom. They are angry and upset about the controversial entry of Matt Hancock into the jungle, broadcasted on Wednesday night.
The former Health Secretary's participation in the reality show has received significant criticism due to CCTV of him breaking lockdown rules he brought into law by engaging in an affair. Some also raged at what they perceived to be his poor handling of the coronavirus pandemic, reports Birmingham Live.
Geoff Paddock tweeted: " Ofcom Allowing #ImACeleb to host the disgraced former health minister and pay him a fortune to appear is a shocking lack of judgement. Many people have been sickened - and to see him laughing and joking with Ant and Dec is insult both to those who died, and to his family."
Phil Coxhead, asked: "Ofcom why are ITV allowing prominent Tories to have excessive airtime peddling their narrative under guise of a reality/game show? Aren’t there rules about this? #ImACeleb." Claire remarked: "Made a complaint to Ofcom for the first and only time in my life tonight. I should not be left in tears at the end of an entertainment show. #ImACeleb."

Other fans took a more comedic approach to the MP's involvement, with J joking "Ofcom, I want to make a complaint. I've just seen Matt Hancock showering. #ImACeleb", while David remarked: "I’M PHONING OFCOM. GET YOUR SHIRT BACK ON #ImACeleb."
Luca raged: "I don’t care about #ImACeleb @MattHancock. Should be behind bars not eating **** on fake reality TV show @Ofcom sort it out!" Another remarked: “Rly upset that I had to see Matt Hancock shower.”
Frey said: "This is an official ofcom complaint WHY have I just had to see a close up of matt hancock’s teeth #ImACeleb." Neil said: "I wonder how many complaints are going into #ofcom about #matthancock #ImACeleb."
Misterful said: "ITV shouldn't have let him become a contestant. I know it's good for ratings, but the context in which Hancock has risen to fame should surely have discounted him from an entertainment show like 'I'm a Celebrity'.
"Had he been just another politician, or the coronavirus inquiry (which hasn't finished yet) completely absolved him of any wrongdoing or incompetence, then things might be different. Otherwise, however, he shouldn't be trying to make us laugh or feel like we can enact revenge through a Bushtucker trial." He added: "The whole situation is pretty grotesque and depressing."
