In a recent radio interview, actor Jonny Lee Miller revealed an adventurous and daring act he did to impress his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie. Miller shared his story during an appearance on Johnny Vaughan's Radio X show.
The conversation began with Vaughan discussing a segment on the show called 'things you do for love.' Curious about Miller's own experience, Vaughan asked him how he tried to impress his romantic interest. To everyone's surprise, Miller admitted that he had jumped out of an airplane for Jolie.
Recalling the incident with a laugh, Miller explained that it wasn't his idea initially. He had been dating Jolie, known for her role in movies like Maleficent and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. Jolie proposed they do something exciting, and that's when Miller found himself agreeing to an adrenaline-pumping skydiving adventure.
The actor highlighted Jolie's fearlessness and described her as 'cool as a cucumber.' It seems Jolie's adventurous spirit convinced Miller to challenge his own limits and embark on an exhilarating experience. The pair had met while working on the movie Hackers in 1995 and later got married. However, their busy schedules eventually led to their separation, and Jolie filed for divorce in 1999.
Despite their split, Miller and Jolie remained on good terms. In fact, three years later, Jolie referred to Miller as a 'solid man and a solid friend.' They were even spotted having dinner together in London, laughing and enjoying each other's company. Eventually, Jolie married actor Brad Pitt in 2014, but they too later divorced.
As Jolie reflected on her life and motherhood in a Vogue interview, she revealed that becoming a mother at the age of 26 had a profound impact on her. She credited her children with saving her and teaching her to navigate the world in a different way. With Pitt, Jolie shares six children: Maddox Chivan, Zahara Marley, Shiloh Nouvel, Pax Thien, and twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline.
While Miller may have jumped out of an airplane for Jolie, their story serves as a reminder of the unique experiences and connections that can develop between individuals. Relationships may evolve and change, but the memories and moments shared can leave a lasting impression.
