Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's son Pax Jolie-Pitt rushed to hospital with head injury

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s son, Pax Jolie-Pitt, has been hospitalised following a collision between his electric bike and a car.

According to TMZ, the 20-year-old suffered a head injury and hip pain after the incident, which occurred around 5pm on Los Feliz Blvd in Los Angeles during rush hour.

It has since been reported that Pax is now in stable condition and may be discharged later on Tuesday, although there were initial concerns about a potential minor brain bleed.

The accident happened when Pax's electric bike collided with the back of a car at an intersection.

The driver of the car stopped to check on Pax, and paramedics arrived shortly afterward.

The Standard has contacted their reps for comment.

Pax is the second eldest of Brad Pitt, 60, and Angelina Jolie's six children. The former couple also share Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and 15-year-old twins, Vivienne and Knox.

Jolie, 48, adopted Pax from a Vietnamese orphanage in 2007, with Pitt formally adopting him a year later. The couple, who were together for 12 years, met on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2005 and separated in 2016.

Since their split, the couple have been involved in several legal disputes. Most recently, they have been in a contentious battle over their Chateau Miraval estate, following Jolie’s sale of her share.

In 2020, their son Pax made headlines when an unearthed social media post surfaced, in which he criticised his father, calling him an “awful human being.”

In the post unearthed by MailOnline, he said: “You time and time again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person.”

He went on: “You have no consideration or empathy towards your four youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence.

“You will never understand the damage you have done to my family because you are incapable of doing so.”

He added: “You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell. You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want but the truth will come to light someday.”

In response to the resurfaced social media, a pal of of Pitt’s told The Sun: “Brad has great respect for all of his children and it’s depressing to see this dragged up.

“It’s frustrating to see Brad being painted as some kind of ‘bad person’ when it’s far from the truth. He chooses to keep a dignified silence and that speaks volumes.”
