Angel Reese’s mom couldn’t bear to watch as Angel made WNBA history, and it’s such a relatable parent response.
Angel has been bulldozing expectations this season, and she had a sensational month of June as she made light work of nearly every opponent. On Sunday, she extended her streak of nine consecutive games with a double-double to a blistering 10 matchups, a WNBA record.
Late into the fourth quarter, Reese had 16 rebounds but still needed one more point to write her name into history books. She managed to draw a foul, which sent her to the line. As the rookie was about to knock down the record-breaking free throws, her mom looked SO STRESSED in the crowd.
