No-code app developer February has raised a further £100,000 on top of an earlier pre-seed venture capital round that brought in £250,000.
The Hull start-up has also been accepted onto a prestigious accelerator programme run by global law firm CMS, as it looks to build a robust future developing mobile platforms for businesses.
Latest funding for the brothers has come from angel investments, peace of mind with an uncertain economy.

Ash Lewis, chief executive, said: “As a no-code software developer that is already generating income from a growing client base, February received a lot of interest from VC backers, and we will use this additional funding from two separate angel investors for operational and customer growth and to recession-proof the business.
“Although we have deliberately set a low growth threshold for February, we are already 15 apps ahead of where we are scheduled to be. Companies are finding our ability to go from concept to live app in four to six weeks a very appealing proposition.”
The EquIP start-up accelerator is a dedicated programme of support to start-ups who are intellectual property rich. It provides a three-year 50 per cent discount on CMS’s standard hourly rates - worth up to £250,000 in the UK - and provides the global benefits of being part of the CMS network of entrepreneurs, investors and events across multiple geographies.
“We are protected on our patents and trademarks, but as an early-stage business we want to ensure that we are fully and thoroughly protected, which is where the CMS programme will be incredibly useful in giving us the option of re-doing all our software and product patents,” Mr Lewis said. “Being part of EquIP will also be of benefit when we look to enter new international markets.”
In a shift from its low-cost, side hustle business approach at launch, the team said the business is dealing mainly, if not exclusively, with established companies and is now offering app set-up fees and monthly hosting charges in different packages.
Ash, together with brother Tom, previously worked on another of their successful tech businesses for about six years - Ash.TV - which they realised as a trade asset sale two years ago.
