Ange to Tottenham refuses to go away as Celtic boss ON '4 man wishlist' and shock jock gets his way

Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou remains on the minds of Tottenham powerbrokers and is now one of four names the club are reportedly considering to become their next manager.

Interim boss Ryan Mason is not expected to be offered the job on a permanent basis with Spurs set to miss out on European football altogether after a disastrous campaign. Antonio Conte left amid a storm after he called out the players in a rant for the ages. His assistant Christian Stellini struggled mightily before he was binned in the wake of a 6-1 pasting at the hands of Newcastle which extinguished their slim Champions League hopes.

Now Fabrizio Romano states Daniel Levy has drawn up a final four–man shortlist which feature Postecoglou, Ruben Amorim, Luis Enrique and frontrunner Arne Slot. The Celtic boss appears in no rush to leave Glasgow and is already planning a second consecutive trip to the Champions League which kicks off with an emotional return to Japan with his current side. But the 57-year-old is held in high esteem by decision makers at the north London club.

The latest link comes after former Spurs star Jamie O'Hara urged Levy to go and get Postecoglou. Speaking last week, the outspoken pundit said: “Tottenham should go after Postecoglou in the summer. If he had the opportunity to manage Tottenham in the Europa League or Europa Conference League, or manage Celtic in the Champions League, you’re taking Tottenham.

"Celtic will get pumped in the Champions League and will be out in the group stage, then they’ll walk the league. Celtic are a huge football club but for Postecoglou’s career, there is no way in a million years he would turn Spurs down.”
