Ange Postecoglou has been told he needs to put the brakes on his mantra slightly when it comes to Celtic in Europe.
The Hoops have won plaudits on the domestic front for their free-flowing attacking football. But they've taken just one point from their five Champions League Group F games, with a final chance to win points coming against Real Madrid next week, albeit they already know they won't play European football beyond Christmas.
A 1-1 draw with Shakhtar Donetsk at Parkhead confirmed this on Tuesday night and Hoops hero Pat Bonner told BBC Sportsound that while Celtic have style that pleases the eye, a slight touch of pragmatism may see them pick up more rewards. The former goalkeeper said: "Shakhtar played with risk and forced Celtic back to then take control of parts of the game. They were pushed right back in that last 15-20 minutes of the game but Celtic couldn't get that vital opportunity to get a second goal.

"They then looked a threat on the counter. Celtic will only play the way they did in the second half. There was huge risk.
"On a scale of 1-10 it was an eight. But they got away with it to stay in the game until the end. But for the goal, they were caught on the counter-attack. Josip Juranovic was the last man on that side and he really shouldn't be. Somebody should be giving him a bit of cover.
"But the way Celtic play, that isn't in their vocabulary. They look vulnerable from that perspective. I know the manager will say we can only play our football but I just think in Europe, you have to do something different. From my experience in Europe, you need to think slightly different and adapt slightly."
