Tottenham Hotspur could announce Ange Postecoglou as Celtic boss as early as next week with the Treble-chasing Scottish Premiership champions “resigned to losing” the Aussie, according to a report.
The Sun say the 57-year-old will take up the reins in north London as Antonio Conte’s successor and that the Parkhead side have already started the hunt for his replacement. Postecoglou is aiming to win his fifth trophy in just two years in the east end of Glasgow when he takes charge of the Scottish Cup Final against Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Saturday.
Postecoglou has emerged as the frontrunner for the Spurs job in recent days with a series of contenders dropping out of the race. He is now the man chairman Daniel Levy wants but the report goes on to state that the Londoners have kept a “respectful” silence while he chases another domestic trophy.
