But it isn't to a traditional football coach, but one in the Aussie rules world. Hawthorn coach Sam Mitchell has jetted into Glasgow during his side's AFL off-season to take a look at how Postecoglou gets his Celtic stars going. 'Personal development is a significant part' of the framework at Hawthorn according to the AFL report and it's why he 'spent time observing and learning from former Socceroos manager Ange Postecoglou in Glasgow' during their off-season.
Their Australian Rules season kicks off next week at home to Collingwood. By that time, the Celtic boss will hope to have a second League Cup in his Glasgow trophy haul. Then attentions will turn to getting the league title over the line, currently holding a nine-point lead over Rangers. They also have a Scottish Cup quarter-final with Hearts to look forward to.
