Ange Postecoglou's clean Celtic injury news as 'no problems' message delivered ahead of Ross County

Ange Postecoglou has provided a Celtic injury update ahead of their Premiership match with Ross County.

The Staggies come to Parkhead as a busy schedule of autumn matches comes to a close for the Hoops. They have won every domestic match this term outside a shock 2-0 defeat to St Mirren in September and sit seven points clear in first place. Callum McGregor and James McCarthy were the only players to miss Wednesday's 2-1 win at Motherwell and Postecoglou hasn't reported anything new for any of his players after action at Fir Park.

It's a big boost for the Australian heading into the four-week hiatus, considering the physical and mental demands placed on his players across three different fronts. He confirmed: "It is the same as. Obviously Callum McGregor and James McCarthy are missing. Everybody else got through Wednesday night with no problems. There were no new issues coming out of it."

It's the final game before the World Cup break for Celtic and Postecoglou added: "The fact this is coming up is not the key bit.

"It's that we want to continue our form. We've come through a crazily hectic period and the fact the boys have been so resilient through this time is a credit to them.

"We want to finish strong and make sure all the games we have had in this period continues."
