Ange Postecoglou insists he has 'no interest' in listening to other manager's points of view on incidents he has already seen.
The Celtic boss is gearing up to face off with Robbie Neilson and Hearts for the second game in just three days after the Hoops were successful in their league encounter on Wednesday. Kyogo, Daizen Maeda and Sead Haksabanovic were all on target for the league leaders in a tasty encounter at Celtic Park with Tynecastle in the Scottish Cup on Saturday sure to provide more fireworks.
Postecoglou's opposite number made the headlines after the game by claiming Hearts would have needed a player to be 'decapitated' to get a red card against Celtic upon reviewing a flashpoint with defender Alexandro Bernabei. In the end the Argentine was booked but Neilson tore in to VAR and the decision post-match.
The Hoops boss was quizzed on this and gave a measured response, insisting he doesn't take too much interest in such claims.
He said: “What other managers say or think is of no interest to me. I don’t know why I would take into account another person’s view of what I have seen. It doesn’t register with me and never has.
“Every manager has the right to analyse and summarise a game they want to, that's fine by me, I have no issue with that.
“But does that mean I go away and say ‘oh my God, look what the other bloke said or look at what some person said about our game, what the hell am I doing here’?
"I did my summary after the game and my analysis. I thought we weren't at our best in terms of our fluency. I thought we were better second half. I thought we showed a strong mindset to score three goals and get the win. That's all I need to worry about."
