New Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou has pledged to leave 'no stone unturned' as he bids to turn the club into trophy contenders.
Postecoglou has taken permanent charge of the Premier League side, who ended the campaign just gone with Ryan Mason in caretaker charge. The Australian led Celtic to a domestic treble in his second season in Scotland, having won the double there last term.
He has now been charged with reversing the fortunes of Spurs, who endured a dreadful time in the season just gone. They finished outside the Champions League, Europa League and even the Europa Conference League qualification places in the table.
While Postecoglou may look on that as a small boost to his plans of implementing his ideas, it represents nothing short of a disaster for the club. But the Australian boss has now pledged to get the Premier League team back on track.
One of the main criticisms that was aimed at former boss Antonio Conte was the uninspiring brand of football. But Postecoglou is keen to bring some joy back to the way Spurs play under his watch.
"It's great to finally get started as manager of this great football club. I'm really looking forward to our task ahead and I think it's an exciting opportunity for us to now sort of set off in a new direction," he said in a video released by the club.

"I can assure you that right through pre-season we won't leave any stone unturned, myself, the staff and the players to make sure that when the league comes around, that you'll all be as excited as I am about the season ahead.
"So I really look forward to seeing everyone at the stadium, in particular our first home game and look forward to the journey ahead."
Postegcolou will officially take over at the start of July, having signed a four-year deal. Chairman Daniel Levy has insisted that he is the right choice for his club's new boss, having led a long search for a new permanent chief.
Levy said: “Ange brings a positive mentality and a fast, attacking style of play. He has a strong track record of developing players and an understanding of the importance of the link from the academy - everything that is important to our Club. We are excited to have Ange join us as we prepare for the season ahead."
