Ange Postecoglou will hold a Zoom call with Dylan Reid as he attempts to convince the St Mirren man to make Celtic his next club.
The Australian originally stated the deal wasn't one he was getting caught up in as it was a 'B' team and youth academy matter. But Football Scotland report that he will hold a Zoom call with Reid, alongside Parkhead coaches Darren O'Dea and Stephen McManus, to talk over a potential move to Parkhead. It was reported over the weekend that a bid of £125,000 for his services had been accepted by St Mirren.
Reid spent part of last season on loan at Queen's Park and is highly-rated within the Buddies youth system. Benfica and Rangers have both been credited with interest but it's Celtic who appear in the driving seat for a midfielder who has captained Scotland at youth level. He also had German interest prior to signing his first pro deal at Saints.

A big decision awaits the teenager though after St Mirren boss Stephen Robinson told him he would be part of his first-team plans this season.
Postecoglou said of interest in Reid: “I think [Dylan Reid] that’s more for our B team. Again, I’d love to be the man for everything, but I have limitations in terms of what I’m focused on at the moment."
At senior level, the Hoops have captured Daizen Maeda, Benjamin Siegrist, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Alexandro Bernabei and Jota on permanent deals.
