Ange Postecoglou vows Celtic will come out of January STRONGER as he responded to speculation linking Chelsea with Josip Juranovic.
The English Premier League giants are believed to be monitoring the right-back ahead of a possible bid during the January window after injury to Reece James. The Hoops star was a standout performer for Croatia at the World Cup finals including a man of the match display against Brazil at the quarter-final stage. He is back in Scotland now and was included in the champions' squad to face Hibernian at Easter Road.
The Celtic star was an unused substitute in the thumping 4-0 win over Lee Johnson's side but is expected to return for the Old Firm showdown with Michael Beale and Rangers. A host of clubs from down south and Europe are keeping an eye on the situation surrounding the full-back with the Hoops set to receive a significant profit on the £2.5million they shelled out to Legia Warsaw just 18 months ago. Asked if there was anything in the stories linking Juranovic to Chelsea, Postecoglou replied: "I can say that I've heard nothing.

"Speculation is what it is but what I know is that the club are in a really good space going into January.
"We've already strengthened and hopefully we will strengthen even further.
"I've not doubt that by the end of January we will have a stronger set of players."
Celtic have already snapped up Alistair Johnston and Yuki Kobayashi ahead of the window opening for business. A number of new arrivals are expected while departures are also likely in what could prove to be a busy month of activity at Parkhead.
