Ange Postecoglou in spiky Celtic radio exchange after imminent title win made to 'feel like a downer'

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou is on the brink of glory after a 4-1 win at home to Hearts put the Hoops a point from the title.

But he wasn't impressed by a line of questioning during his post-match radio interview.

The league will be done and dusted should rivals Rangers drop points at home to Dundee United on Sunday.

But if they get three points then it will be on to Wednesday night's full Premiership card and Celtic can get the job done in front of what is bound to be a massive travelling support.

Speaking to BBC Sportsound's Kenny Macintyre, the reporter asked if Postecoglou would prefer to get the title wrapped up this weekend by way of Rangers dropping points, or alternatively win it at Tannadice on Wednesday.

And Postecoglou was bemused by the question.

"Only you could make winning a championship feel like a downer," he quipped.

"No, any way it comes, I'll take it."

Stars Kyogo, Jota, Callum McGregor and the rest lapped it up at full-time as the fans sang along to Daft Punk's 'One More Time', a song clearly chosen for its symbolism in the title race.

And Postecoglou can't wait to give them the ultimate reward for their belief and dedication this season.

"Anyone involved in football will tell you there are many ways you get rewards in this game for success.

"But none are greater than just seeing the joy it brings to other people, that you've contributed to something that makes people so joyous in every way.

"Whether it's your own family or just the people who support this football club. It's a cliche but it is priceless.

"It gives you the best feeling and that's your biggest motivator."
