Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has refused to shut the door on the Premiership leaders adding to their four new faces this month.
It's been all go in Glasgow's east end with Oh the latest arrival following Yuki Kobayashi, Tomoki Iwata and Alistair Johnston into the club with Moritz Jenz and Josip Juranovic exiting. And Postecoglou admits the current situation with Giorgos Giakoumakis remains the same after Record Sport revealed Atlanta United had a loan offer kicked out for the forward as he seeks a fresh challenge away from Celtic.
And Postecoglou was mindful not to dampen any hope of further new faces heading to club before the window shuts on Tuesday night. The 57-year-old – speaking to Sky Sports – was asked if business was concluded, and he said: "Well, I could say yes and make it a boring few days for everyone but I'll just say we'll continue to be agile and see what happens."
And the Celtic boss admits Giakoumakis is still looking at opportunities away from the club. He added: "There is still a bit of speculation around him; nothing has been confirmed. With a few days left in the window we will see what happens with Giako. He's still part of us at the moment but there's still a fair bit going on around in the background. Hopefully that all gets resolved in the next few days.
"There's no great urgency, from us or from anyone, it's just Giako wants to explore some offers for himself and that is what he is dong. And if he finds something he really wants to explore that is suitable to us a football club then we will look at it in that light. But in the meantime we are making sure we're ready to go for the games."
