Bullish Ange Postecoglou has doubled down on his defence of Celtic's style after criticism emerged following the end of their Champions League hopes.
It was a comfortable afternoon for the Scottish Premiership champions as they bounced back from their Champions League disappointment against RB Leipzig, with James Forrest netting a hat-trick while Giorgios Giakoumakis got a double against the visitors. Daizen Maeda rounded off the rout late in the game for Celtic with Ellie Youan's low strike proving to be nothing more than a consolation for Hibs in Glasgow's east end.
The result means the Hoops move five points clear at the top of the table before Rangers kick-off against Motherwell on Sunday and added a major boost to the club's goal difference. After a disappointing week for Scottish football in Europe, Postecoglou came out swinging again after dismantling Lee Johnson's men.

Postecoglou has hit out at critics looking to drag Celtic into the inquest into Scottish football’s Euro week from Hell, after heavy defeats for both Rangers and Hearts to Liverpool and Fiorentina respectively. He reckons the performance against Leipzig and the result against Hibs shows the type of team they are.
When asked how much hunger played a part in the performance, Postecoglou told BBC Sportsound: "A great deal. It's hunger, it's ambition and it's who we want to be.
"It's why I thought some of the comments were ridiculous coming out of the Champions League about our performances. We set out to play a certain way and we have done that.
"We have fallen short in areas where I think, in the most part, we can improve. It's not through a failure of endeavour or will, and we will never change our approach.
"That is what we wanted to show today, and I think that is what the players wanted to show today; what kind of team we are and what kind of team we want to be. We did that today."
