Delighted Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou moved to play down any offside drama as he instead lavished praise on his stars after a hard-fought 2-1 win over Hearts
Goals from Reo Hatate and Giorgos Giakoumakis had the visitors cruising but a Liam Boyce strike got Hearts back in it before the same player missed a late penalty.
The Greek's finish and the Hearts goal could both have been flagged offside, however, the delighted Celtic manager was content to quickly move on.
And he was overjoyed to secure a precious win in Gorgie, which keeps his side four points behind rivals Rangers who eked past Livingston at Ibrox.
The 56-year-old, speaking to Sky Sports, said: "A cracking game, we're really pleased.
"Coming here, it's not an easy place to come but we played well, got our goals, had to defend a bit at the end. Really proud of them
"You have to always have to (defend) when you come away from home, especially against a team that's in good form, we could have finished the game off earlier, we had some good chances.
"Once they got their goal the crowd got behind them but I still think we handled it really well."
But Postecoglou was happy to bat away any questions about the two major incidents, with the decision to allow Giakouamakis' opener seeing Robbie Neilson wait to have words with referee John Beaton in the tunnel.
He added: "Mate, I don't know, they love talking about decisions here, don't they?
"I like analysing the game of football, 'there's is offside, our's is offside, mate, it doesn't matter'.
"All I see is we played really well tonight, created a lot of opportunities, Craig Gordon had a few saves to make, we just needed to finish it off earlier."
And he was over the moon with debutant Matt O'Riley and Hatate, who made a beeline for his boss after netting his long-range stunner.
He said: "Super-pleasing, you need to keep it context, Matty O'Riley came in a few days ago, I thought he was outstanding, Reo's had 70 minutes of football in the last month.
"It's brilliant, we had a challenge tonight, that's for sure, everybody knows the players we have missing, significant absences, guys out there had to step up and they did.
And there was also a nod for Giakoumakis, who made it two goals in two games as he fills the breach amid Kyogo 's continued absence.
He added: "There's no burden when you're scoring goals mate, he relishes that opportunity, I don't think he sees it as a burden.
"He had a rough start to his Celtic career, but we stayed patient with him, he worked really hard to put himself in this position, he took his goal well, it was great."
