Ange Postecoglou is determined to identify and resolve the issue of information leaks within Tottenham Hotspur, as the club announced the appointment of Vinai Venkatesham as their new CEO.
Venkatesham, who previously served as CEO at North London rivals Arsenal, will join Spurs in the summer, bringing with him a wealth of experience, including a prominent role with the British Olympic Association.
The news of Venkatesham's impending arrival coincided with Postecoglou's frustration over persistent leaks that have plagued the club.
The day after a 1-1 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League quarter-final first leg, the Spurs boss expressed his dissatisfaction with the ongoing issue, which he believes complicates efforts on the field.
One such leak surrounded Wilson Odobert, who had been a standout performer in the previous round against AZ Alkmaar but was left on the bench during the Frankfurt game.
Social media rumours had suggested that Odobert had suffered a fresh hamstring injury, prompting Postecoglou to clarify the situation.

"He’s fine. With all the players returning from long-term injuries, we take a careful approach and monitor their progress closely," the former Celtic manager explained.
"We’ve done that with Micky (van de Ven), Destiny (Udogie), (Cristian) Romero, and others. They might experience some discomfort in different areas, but Wilson trained today and should be available for the weekend."
The leaks, which Postecoglou claims have been ongoing throughout the current season, have caused frustration within the club.
He revealed that the coaching staff has been working to track down the source of the leaks and has a good idea of where the information is coming from.
"There’s no doubt we have a leak inside the club," Postecoglou told reporters ahead of Spurs' trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English Premier League this Sunday.
"It’s been going on all year, and it doesn’t help us. It just makes our job more difficult.
"We work hard to keep things in-house, as all clubs do, because we don’t want the opposition to have any insight into our team selection. But someone within our camp continues to give out information."

Postecoglou continued, stating that while some of the leaks are inaccurate, they still undermine the team’s preparations.
"Half of it is mis-information, and half of it is incomplete information, but it certainly doesn’t help us," he added.
"On game day, we want to keep as much information as possible within the club. We put in the effort to gather information on the opposition, but for us, someone has an open line to what we’re doing. It’s disappointing because you want to believe that everyone in our camp is working with us, not against us."
