Ange Postecoglou is quickly getting to work with Tottenham with reports suggesting the North London club are ready to splash £50million on transfers.
The former Celtic boss made the switch south last Tuesday as he aims to make his mark in the Premier League.
Since his move, Postecoglou has been linked with moves for key Celtic duo Kyogo Furuhashi and Reo Hatate, but the Daily Mail report today that the Aussie is aiming for a double swoop from Leicester.
The report states that Spurs have tabled a £50million joint bid for key duo James Maddison and Harvey Barnes.
The Foxes could reject the mega offer as just last season they were looking for £60million for each of the players.
With Leicester relegated from the Premier League and the pair contributing 23 goals and 10 assists over the course of the season, they are very much in demand.
Newcastle, Aston Villa and West Ham are also said to be interested.
Meanwhile, Celtic appear close to securing the services of Brendan Rodgers for a second time after pushing the boat out to bring their former manager back as Ange Postecoglou’s successor.
