Ange Postecoglou says the appointment of Michael Beale at Rangers is so low on his list of priorities that it's less important than what he's having for his dinner.
Beale had praised the work Postecoglou has done at Celtic after he was appointed last Monday - but also insisted he was going to chase down the Celtic manager as he tries to revive Rangers and get them firing when the Premiership resumes in two weeks with the Australian manager's side holding a nine-point lead.
Postecoglou, though, treated Beale's appointment in a rather surprising way and went on to extol the qualities of his predecessor Gio van Bronckhorst whom he insists is a top boss.

Speaking today on the appointment of Beale at Rangers, Postecoglou said: "On the scale of things that have been on my mind in the last two weeks, that's registering below what I'm having for dinner tonight.
"It just doesn't come on my radar. What other clubs do with their managers is of no real interest unless we play them in the next game - you take more notice then. Beyond that, no real interest.
"Gio was, and is, a fantastic manager. He's had a great record in Holland, and here in Scotland too. He won a trophy and got to a European final and I've no doubt that he will be successful wherever he goes.
"In terms of me and my thoughts on what other clubs do, I have zero interest - I've got enough on my plate."
