Andy Walker in Celtic cringe after Joe Hart howler as speechless pundit admits 'you have to see this one'

Frustrated Andy Walker admits he couldn't believe what he was watching as Joe Hart gifted RB Leipzig their second goal against Celtic.

Ange Postecoglou's men fell to a 3-1 defeat in the Champions League which leaves the Scottish Premiership champions with an uphill battle to reach the knockout rounds of the competition. However, things could have been very different if it hadn't been from a moment of madness from England veteran Hart between the sticks.

Celtic were handed a lucky escape after RB Leipzig star Dominik Szoboszlai saw his goal controversially ruled out by VAR, the goalkeeper gifted the home side their second goal of the night when he lobbed a misplaced ball straight back to Szoboszlai. The forward slipped a neat pass to Andre Silva who calmly slotted the ball into the net off the post, and Walker was almost lost for words as he watched the moment live on Sky Sports News.

Walker recapped: "You have got to see this one. It's a mistake from Joe Hart. He has got very comfortable possession in his own box and he's tried to play a pass... (pauses and covers his eyes when watching replay). I can't believe he has tried to play that pass.

"I mean the weight of the pass...there is three Leipzig players around Greg Taylor, and he's tried to play it. I can't believe he's tried to play that pass.

"It's so tight, there is no gap. It's been played into the path of Andre Silva and it's a good finish.

"I've got to say that is a horrible mistake. Celtic are without Carter-Vickers, Welsh has been good, and Jenz have been good. That is a horror mistake."
