Buy Buckeyes TicketsThe former Buckeye is one of seven assistants or head coaches that Staples believes are potentially in line to take over the Spartan program. Honestly, if I was any of those coaches, I would politely decline any conversations about that job.
Michigan State is not a destination school, it’s mired in controversy and the smoke screen season of 2021 is exactly that, an abnormality. Yes, Mark Dantonio had the program among the best in the country, but there hasn’t been an ability to replicate anything close to the consistent success he had.
