Andy Samberg is set to star in a new comedy feature directed by Radio Silence, known for their work on recent hits. Amazon MGM Studios has acquired the comedy pitch package for The Robots Go Crazy, with Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett set to direct and Samberg to star. The film will be produced by The Lonely Island's production company Party Over Here, with Samberg, Ali Bell, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone serving as producers. Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett, who directed the recent vampire flick Abigail, have previously worked on successful projects like the Scream franchise and Ready or Not.
