Andy Robertson admits he wasn't impressed with Mohamed Salah's dressing room speech after the Egyptian became Liverpool's greatest goalscorer in the Premier League.
Salah, 30, eclipsed Robbie Fowler's 22-year record by scoring twice for the Reds as they swept aside Manchester United 7-0 at Anfield on Sunday. Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez also netted twice on a stunning afternoon for Jurgen Klopp's men as they closed the gap on fourth-placed Tottenham to just three points.
It took Salah's Premier League tally to a mammoth 130 goals since his move from Roma in 2017. Although he hasn't been at his best this season, he has still managed to notch 11 in the top flight - the seventh most in the division, with Erling Haaland the runaway leader on 27.
After breaking Fowler's longstanding record, Salah conducted an interview with Sky Sports and gave a speech to his teammates. Scotland international Robertson has confessed the Liverpool No.11 shouldn't give up the day job to become an orator, but praised him for his heroics on the pitch.
"The record breaker, I don’t know how many records that he’s broken but I know that one means a lot to him," Robertson told LFCTV of Salah.
"Obviously ,Robbie Fowler, fantastic player for this club. A legend in his own right and for Mo to beat him, and not to take anything away from Robbie, but in quite a lot less games.
"He'll go down as one of the greats for this club, the Premier League, everything. For this club, he'll go down as one of the all-time greats and he deserves everything he got."

Robertson added: “He (Salah) got a massive cheer in the changing room when he came in. His speech wasn’t great, but hey-ho. He's a fantastic player, a fantastic person. He’ll be hungry for more."
Salah also broke another record on the weekend as he became Liverpool's leading scorer against United in the Premier League with 10 goals. But it is Fowler's tally that Salah was so desperate to catch and beat - something he surpassed after just 206 matches.
"It's very special, I can’t lie," he told Sky Sports when asked about becoming Liverpool's record Premier League scorer. This record was in my mind since I came here, I think after my first year I was always chasing that record.
"So, to break it today, against United, with that result, was unbelievable. So, I’m going home to celebrate with the family, have a camomile tea and sleep!"
Jordan Henderson also praised Salah and said: "I’m really happy for Mo because it’s not coincidence he gets these numbers. He dedicates his life to football, every single day how hard he works. He’s the first one in, last one out, and it’s not a coincidence so I’m delighted for him."
