Andy Robertson has branded FIFA's plan to give Scotland players less than two weeks off at the end of the season as 'unacceptable' in a stinging attack.

Scotland have four Nations League matches pencilled in for June, but should Ukraine be in a position to play their World Cup play-off semi-final, Steve Clarke's team would have to squeeze in that plus a potential final in Wales in the same month.

And Robertson is adamant player welfare must be taken into account and wants other international fixtures dropped to make way for the play-offs whenever Ukraine can play.

Liverpool 'eye' Otavio

Liverpool remain keen on securing the services of FC Porto star Otavio, who could leave the club in the summer.

That is according to Portuguese publication A Bola, as relayed by Sport Witness, who claim Liverpool are among the clubs keeping tabs on Otavio. The report goes on to claim that the Reds have been monitoring the progress of the 27-year-old for a while and intend to make a move after the end of the season.

The 27-year-old has mostly operated on the right-hand side this season, racking up an impressive 12 assists in just 25 league matches. Liverpool have been linked in the past.
