Andy Halliday emerged from Tynecastle as Edinburgh Derby hero then proved he has the quick wit to match his goal heroics.
The Hearts midfielder netted twice as Robbie Neilson 's side came from behind to beat Hibs and cement their status as the Premiership's third force on Saturday.
Halliday, a former Rangers player, was on the end of Hibs fans' taunts over the 2016 Scottish Cup Final but ensured he had the last laugh by scoring either side of the interval in a 3-1 win.
And as he limped in to meet Jambos fans in hospitality at full-time, he found his name being sung for very different reasons.
After being greeted by Tynecastle tannoy announcer Scott Wilson, Halliday was firstly asked for the reason behind his hobbling and he shot back with an instant quip that was lapped up around the room.
Wilson said: "Andy, you're coming in there with a wee limp. Tell us, what's the situation?"
And the 30-year-old replied: "I've got my goal bonus in my right pocket, so I can't walk!"
The clip was posted on Twitter by Hearts fan @steve_meik_hmfc and has gone down a storm with his fellow Jambos.
