Hearts midfielder Andy Halliday says his club only need to look down the M8 for inspiration on what European nights can bring to Edinburgh.
Robbie Neilson's men have started their Premiership campaign but big excitement lies in a European campaign that will run until the winter this season, in either the Europa League group stages or Europa Conference League equivalent. FC Zurich or Linfield await in the play-off phase of the EL to see if they can make that money-spinning six-game run in UEFA's second tier competition but regardless, they'll have a minimum of four European nights at Tynecastle.
Halliday's former club Rangers reached May's Europa League final while Celtic have a history for creating special atmospheres on the continent at Parkhead. Fans have played a huge part in success outside of SPFL matters and the midfielder, speaking on behalf of Grosvenor Sport, says that may be the case for Hearts.

He said: "The passion of Scottish football fans stands out to everywhere else. A big part of why both Rangers and Celtic have beaten so many big teams in Europe is because of the fans.
"I'm really looking forward to that at Hearts this season, we're guaranteed eight fixtures at Tynecastle and we know it's a fortress.
"Rangers obviously know the benefit of the fans and they used that to their advantage last night."
