Former LA Rams offensive lineman Andrew Whitworth was given the microphone and platform to address the crowd at State Farm Stadium and viewing audience before his former team played the Minnesota Vikings on Monday.
Whitworth exhorted the Los Angeles area that has been ravaged by wildfires to underthand the people will not be defined by the event and will remain strong. “We are strong. We will not be defined by this devastation. We will rebuild L.A. hand in hand together.”
