Everything has been going right for the Rams against the Cardinals, but there are a couple of injury concerns. Andrew Whitworth exited the game after the Rams’ first play from scrimmage, suffering a knee injury after getting rolled up on by another player. He returned and played the rest of the first half, but on the Rams’ opening possession of the third quarter, he wasn’t out there.
Joe Noteboom replaced him at left tackle and Whitworth is now questionable to return. The same goes for David Long Jr., who injured his knee at the end of the first half, too.
Long had a pick-six in the second quarter to put the Rams up 21-0, so he already had a big impact on the game before getting hurt.
Rams Injury Update: OL Andrew Whitworth (ankle), CB David Long Jr. (knee) both questionable to return.
