Andrew Tate now under federal investigation in the United States

Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate are under federal investigation in the United States, it has been revealed, adding another item to the towering pile of their many other legal problems.

The federal investigation was uncovered due to a note from an attorney spotted in a filing for their US defamation lawsuit, which the Tate brothers launched last year against four female accusers.

The Tate brothers are accusing these individuals of spreading false accusations that led authorities to charge them with sex trafficking in Romania.

But in a recent filing, a lawyer for the defendants let something slip. According to TMZ, an attorney representing one of the four defendants filed legal documents requesting that certain information in that defamation case be kept confidential due to an ongoing U.S. Attorney's Office investigation.

In the docs obtained by TMZ, lawyer Danielle Pinter says the document should not be released publicly until the “United States federal investigation and/or prosecution by the Department of Justice for the Southern District of New York of Andrew and Tristan Tate has concluded.”

The Southern District of New York (SDNY) attorney’s office is the same office that ran investigations into Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and singer R Kelly. The office also recently charged Sean “Diddy” Combs with sex trafficking and other federal offences.

Andrew Tate is also dealing with two other investigations in the United States, including a case where he was accused of choking his girlfriend Bri Stern until she was unconscious in the Beverly Hills Hotel last month. Andrew Tate’s lawyer Joseph McBride has said his client “firmly denies the allegations against him” and described Stern’s as a “blatant cash grab — a desperate attempt by a sad individual to exploit Andrew’s success and reputation for personal gain.”

Tristan Tate is also being investigated in the Florida criminal probe in which Governor Ron DeSantis announced the brothers were not welcome in the state.

As well as the US investigations, Andrew Tate is wanted on criminal charges of rape and sexual misconduct in the UK. Andrew and Tristan Tate are currently awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking in Romania. They have not currently been convicted of any crimes.

Addressing the federal case, McBride told TMZ: "[These are] pathetic delay tactics by a group of weak lawyers running from a fight in the Florida Defamation Case, because they know the evidence is overwhelmingly on our side.

"The SDNY is subject to Washington. Washington is not involved. We are not worried. Nothing changes. Our march to victory continues."
