Andrew Tate doubts he would have to train properly to fight Logan Paul

Andrew Tate has reiterated his desire to fight Logan Paul - and doubts he would need to prepare to face the YouTuber.

Tate has become a high-profile figure in recent years for his controversial views which have seen him banned from most mainstream social media platforms including TikTok and Instagram. Despite losing his presence online, Tate has maintained his notoriety particularly for his rivalry with YouTube star Paul who has competed in both boxing and WWE.

Tate and Paul previously held talks over a fight after the content creator issued a call-out to the former kickboxer, before making a swift U-turn and dismissing the contest over fears of giving his rival a platform. But despite a meeting now looking unlikely, Tate believes a fight with Logan could still take place.

"It doesn't really matter to me if it was kickboxing, I would completely destroy him," Tate said during an interview with UFC star Sean O'Malley on his YouTube channel when discussing a fight with Paul. "Boxing is good for the fans as it translates very well to the fans. Every idiot stands a punch in the face so I am happy to box the guy.

"He is a big guy and a strong guy and if he wants to fight sure I will beat his a**. I actually quite like Jake [Paul], I think Logan is still a YouTuber so I think they are in different parallels. I think he is far better than Logan, I think Jake would be much harder to beat and I feel like I would have to train like a fighter instead of Logan who would be easy to beat. Me vs Logan would be the best fight."

Tate was angered by Paul's refusal to hand him a platform with a boxing clash, which has seen him spread much more positive views around regarding Paul's brother Jake. Both siblings have held talks with Tate over a squared circle meeting, but nothing official is yet to materialise with negotiations impacted by his recent social media prohibition.

In two separate demands, Tate has suggested that he would fight Paul for free but then insisted in a more recent rant that he would be the A-side for the clash. KSI's manager Mams Taylor made an offer for the fight to take place in January on a Misfits boxing card, but suggested Tate is instead eyeing two warm-up fights.

But the 35-year-old has claimed any delay was down to the negotiations. "It's a matter of making sure the deal gets done correctly," he explained. "I'm not going to allow any of these social media clowns to pretend that they're the A-Side of negotiations when I'm the most famous man on the planet, they do not deserve more money than me, in fact it's the opposite."
