Newcastle singer-songwriter Andrew Cushin is set to perform his biggest hometown venue show yet when he headlines at the O2 City Hall.
The 23-year-old from Heaton will play to a crowd of more than 2,000 people at the city's iconic venue which will take place on Saturday, November 4. Presale tickets will be released at 10am on Wednesday, April 26, and will hit general sale at 10am on Friday, April 28.
The show is a pivotal moment for the Geordie star who burst into the limelight in 2020 with his debut single, ‘It’s Gonna Get Better.’ The track gained Cushin a legion of fans across the UK and attracted the attention of music legends Noel Gallagher and Peter Doherty.

An early champion of Cushin's work, Gallagher even laid down guitars on one of his early singles, ‘Where’s My Family Gone’, while Peter Doherty signed him to his label, Strap Originals in 2021.
Last year Cushin released his debut EP with the label called 'You Don't Belong' and performed at Newcastle’s Rock N Roll Circus where he supported Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and The Charlatans.
The massive Newcastle show is part of his 'Waiting for the Rain' UK and Ireland tour which will kick off in October and features 18 dates.
On his headline performance at Newcastle's O2 City Hall, Andrew said: “I never in a million years thought I’d get to this point, it’s a really proud moment for me and my family. Newcastle has always been immensely supportive of everything I’ve done and I promise to put on a proper show for them.”
