Andrew Cavenagh has broken his silence on the impending takeover of Rangers.
Cavenagh, alongside 49ers Enterprises President Paraag Marathe, is closing in on the completion of a deal to buy a controlling stake in the Scottish Premiership club.
He was in attendance at Ibrox last night, as Barry Ferguson's men prevailed in a dramatic penalty shootout win against Fenerbahce to progress to the quarter-final stage of the Europa League.
Sky Sports waited outside the main stand deep into the early hours of the morning to get a word with the highly successful businessman.

He was first asked how close the takeover of the club was.
"A great match tonight," the health insurance tycoon responded. "I'm just here to support the club."
Then pushed on what it is that has attracted the US consortium to invest in Rangers, the American businessman again batted Luke Shanley's question into touch.
He simply said: "Have a wonderful night."
Sky continued to roll the cameras as Cavenagh and his team entered a blacked-out vehicle to make their exit from the stadium.

It's believed that the takeover deal is on course to be done by the end of May, roughly in line with when the 2024/25 season ends.
The completion of the transaction will grant the American consortium a 51 per cent controlling stake in Rangers.
The deal will result in the sale of Dave King's majority shareholding in RIFC plc, with John Bennett and Barry Scott also expected to sell their stakes.
Douglas Park is also anticipated to divest a portion of his club shares.
The paperwork for the deal is still being reviewed, and the finalisation of the agreement is expected within the next couple of months.
